From February 14 to February 18, 2023, students of the Department of International and Business Law of the Ala-Toо International University took part in the Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition.

Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition is a simulation of the International Court of Justice, known as Jessup Moot. National Rounds (qualifiers) were held at Tashkent State Law University between universities of Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan), after which one team was selected from each country to participate in International Rounds.

AIU students opposed two universities of Kyrgyzstan and took 2nd place, as well as won a special award for the Best Memorandum, and two students entered the Top-5 Best Speakers.
