The Department of International and Business Law of the AIU is proud to announce the outstanding success of students in the essay competition organized by the Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Kyrgyz Republic (ICRC KR) with the support of the Swiss Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.

In cooperation with the Embassy, the ICRC Mission of the Kyrgyz Republic organized a competition on the theme “Navigating the legal and ethical landscape: international humanitarian law and nuclear weapons”. This competition gave students a unique opportunity to explore the legal and ethical aspects of nuclear weapons in the context of international humanitarian law. AIU students demonstrated a high level of knowledge and research skills. Aizhan Mukhtar kyzy took 2nd place and Sanzhar Mambetaliev was awarded 3rd place. 

These achievements highlight the talent and dedication of AIU students and the university's active role in forming experts on international law and humanitarian issues. We are proud of the success of our students and congratulate Aizhan and Sanzhar on their well-deserved awards in the competition.
